We regularly present at statewide and regional conferences to discuss opportunities to strengthen environmental literacy in K-12 instruction and share information about California’s Environmental Principles and Concepts (EP&Cs).

    "Using EEI Curriculum Resources to Support Environment-Based 3-D Learning"

    Experience a 5E learning sequence that demonstrates how the environment can be woven into NGSS lessons. Participants will use a variety of resources from "Surviving and Thriving", an Education and the Environment Initiative (EEI) Curriculum unit. They will also explore California’s Environmental Principles and Concepts (EP&Cs), which are now included in the 2016 Science Framework.
